TODAY I WILL BE HAPPIER THAN A BIRD WITH A FRENCH FRY!
I saw this quote on another blog as I surfed around and it made me chuckle. My thought are exactly how happy is a bird with a french fry? Do they like the crunch one, that make their beak snap together, do they like the squishy ones with two much grease, do they like salt and pepper, or do they like the garlic ones the best?
Truly I have never seen a bird reject a piece of food on the ground. I wonder do they get that watery mouth when a piece is dropped? HUM.....
OK,way to much thought on a simple phrase. But just for today " I will be happier than a bird with a french fry".

Aunt Karma/Carma is my aunt and I am ready to lend her away to anyone....... Come on some one take one for the team. Sunday my Dad and Orval went home and I went back to bed, I awoke with the sore throat and runny nose. Yes,my friends this is my annual seasonal cold. WHY???????????????? why can I not just get one change of season without getting sick? I have to get better you see the Burton's will be here on Friday for the Easter weekend, and I have to be at my best, I have Eliza and Huck coming to visit and I don't want anything to hamper their visit. Oh, how I love them so much. I could just hug and smooch on them forever. They are the last from my side immediate family to come and visit. I have been on the count down for this visit for the past 6 weeks. Pray quickly for me that this cold will leave in the night. Thank you

Look what my Dad brought to me..........Happy Easter Everyone!



I love this Easter time of year for candy epically PEEPS! I get the spring in my step when I enter the grocery store and see the Easter Candy display and I know there on the shelf just waiting are my beloved peeps. I have a love affair with peeps that dates back to my childhood. I awoke on Easter morning where I would cheer with delight for the peeps in my basket. I would relish one of them right then and there still soft and gooey right then and there letting the sugar coating scrape the upside of my mouth. I would save another for after church, you see if you keep a peep out in the air they become this crunch treat on the out side and soft on the inside. Many years later I still get giddy with excitement for a Peep. I still pop one in my mouth to enjoy the whole thing at once. But now I have the restraint to take a whole package bought first thing in the Easter Season, poke holes in it and set on the top shelf to let those peeps get real hard. I love the snap a dried peep makes. Also this helps to stretch out the Peep eating season. I LOVE a good peep!!!!!

Las Vegas Blvd....

Here are the following things I saw today driving down Las Vegas Blvd. This is from Flamingo to Jerry's Nugget. One yellow car the color of sunny delight, 18 Mexicans handing out stripper cards, one lady in a mini-mini skirt with teeny-tiny wife beater shirt with a can of bud, one man with baby pink hiking boot, three men standing out side the little chapel of the flowers, one bum pushing a grocery basket,one lady with gold earrings all the way up her ear, man eating an ice cream come, a couple sucking face out side of Margarita Ville,one cop car, one ambulance,one small fire truck, construction workers, moving crane, a black Ferrari,one family with a stroller with three kids inside, garbage, volcano show at Mirage, Serdenipity,hundreds of silver pinwheels in the flower bed outside of a church, 4 limos, one we will bring girls to your door trailer.
Now only in Las Vegas would you see these things driving down one road. I realize that I work and live in sin city. You could people watch all day long and not see the same thing twice. I am so happy that I have to drive 20 miles home and that it feel and looks like a completely different. However I am watching the news and come to find out about 2 miles away there is a neighborhood evacuated for bombs. Great, wonderful, I sure feel safe.
I guess if we were in immediate danger we would be evacuated. Love it all!

The computer room is........ only half the mess it was? Clean? or still dirty?

This may seem like a menial task to some but I have fought the fight and now Rain and I combined and the room is once again ready for human existence. Good thing guests arrive tomorrow. How sad is that, it takes out of town guest for us both to get a room clean. The best news of the day is Rain finally folded all the laundry. If you leave it on the couch long enough he will get the idea. Battle Won!!!! I am dancing in the computer room. Love it all.
