Do you ever have two weeks of mayhem and pray for just one dull day with nothing new happening. You know the day you can just breath and relax. Well the past two week have brought more and more until I feel we are at our breaking point. My mind is always brought back to the scriptures saying we will not be given more than we can bear. I guess at this point I do not want to truly know what is more than I can bear.
After a wonderfully quick weekend up in Salt Lake for Ben and McKenzie's day, I arrived home to visit with the Anderson's for the night. They were here in Vegas for the weekend.
I awoke Monday to a cold, now I don't like colds at all and I tend to get very bitter towards them. I kept a great grudge against this cold and low and behold it has gone away faster than any other cold I have ever had. Note to self be mean to the cold and it will go away. Unfortunately it just jumped across the bed to Joe and he has had a fun week with a cold and flu to. To say the least our home is full of Kleenex and cough drops. I only hope we are well enough by Wednesday to head down to Albuquerque for Thanksgiving. If we are still to sick we will stay home. I can not in good conscious go to his parents sick, it is just not fare. So keep your fingers crossed.
Monday as well I found out that Diamond Resorts formerly Sunterra is going to close the Travel Department. Basically they are letting us go. What!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! was my answer, right at the Holiday time are you kidding me. Of course I held this all in and smiled as they brought down the bad news. I thought well I can apply to be a bell ringer outside of a grocery store. Yeah right! After a few minutes of panic laced with bitterness and a string of not so nice words utter to my self in my car. I climbed out of my car and went back into work with another smile. To my great surprise I received a phone call from another department offering me a job, and about 1 hour latter another department called to offer a job. Both are departments I work well with and I really get along with the people. I had an interview with each and now have to make up my mind which is going to be the best for me and my family. So stay tuned.......
Really the Lord works in mysterious ways. I had to take a big does of humility and thank the Lord for making a way for me.

The First Day!!!!
Finally, after a week of knowing we have a blog, I am going to get going.
Rain and I are having a wonderful November 2007. We are officially married
longer than a year and we still Love each other. More important we still like
each other. I ordered a cake from the same company that did our Wedding cake, yes it was the best tasting cake I have ever had. This is what it looked like.
This week is a preparation for me to get to Salt Lake for Benjamin and McKenzie's
wedding celebration and Rain is staying behind to host our friends the Anderson's from Albuquerque.
I am trying to finish up all the homemade Christmas gifts to take with me. Each year I get this new desire to become a more craft centered person. I always have the best intentions, and yet I only get a part of them done. The other day I pulled out a project from 3 years ago and made myself finish before I started another one. This did make me feel better, one down 15 hundered to go.
There is hope for us craft-challenged people.I think Rain is my cheerleader only because he wants the front room back. He truly has no said a word but I know the existence of Christmas junk since late July has driven him nuts. I think when next February rolls around and I get a wild hair to start once again another project he just might talk me out of it. We shall see.
Here are a few pictures of us in Vegas. Can't wait so see all in Albuquerque for Thanksgiving!!!!
We Love you all!!!!!!!!!
