Posting every 20 days is good, right?
So much has gone on this month of July. We had a wonderful 4th doing nothing at all during the day, then headed off to a BBQ with friends and then of course over to the golf course to sit and watch the fireworks all around the valley of Las Vegas. The heat as finally made its way into Las Vegas for the summer. But truly I can not complain we have only had a few weeks of 100's here. This last Monday night there was the most spectacular rain storm with wall shaking thunder and lightening dancing about the sky's, I love a good rain storm!
I spent last weekend in the car. I drove up to Idaho Falls and spent the day with Carrie. We went to get pedicures and lunch and of course talk talk talk. I have not seen her since last October and we needed a good face to face talk session. I drove through Logan, Ut and Preston Idaho to get there. This was a beautiful drive. I saw many farmers out working the dirt of the earth, some driving back and forth harvesting the hay, of their fields. Green grasses mixed with golden hay is a spectacular sight. I spent the night with my parent in Salt Lake before heading home Sunday. I was in plenty of company driving home, the highway was packed.
I am very blessed to have a Husband who let's the free spirit in me get in the car and drive many many miles to spend the weekend away to reconnect with a most cherished friend. I am back in Las Vegas and ready for another weekend to go and have some fun. We just might see a movie and hang out together that Rain and I. I live a very blessed life.

One year!!!!! We have made it to one year in our home. Many many changes have taken place in our home. We have fig, carrot, garbanzo bean, lemon, and plum colors on the wall. We have a wonderful backyard full of jasmine, orange tree, and flowers galore. We have a new kitchen faucet as of today. I look back and the year has truly flown by. We are so blessed to have a wonderful home surrounded by great neighbors. We live in a wonderful ward with great members. We have a smooth commute route to our jobs. And most of all we have a space on this earth we can call the Pioquinto's in Vegas.
